My Goals
School:Be able to take the weekly kanji test in modern Japanese.
Homestay:Become even closer with my host family.
Community: Become more familiar with Hyogo, and make some new friends.
How well are you adjusting to your school life?
With the help of my classmates and homeroom teacher, I am able to understand everything that is happening in and around my school. I also joined art club which is enjoyable.
How well are you adjusting to your host family? Helping any household chores?
I am learning every day thanks to my host family, I am also getting new responsibilities regularly which I enjoy.
How well are you adjusting to Japanese life? What do you like/dislike about Japan?
I think I am doing well. I love school life here but I don’t like waking up early.
What are the challenges you encountered and how did you face those challenges in last 2 months?
I can’t think of any off the top of my head, but maybe just not understanding extremely casual Japanese.
What did you accomplish so far? What do you want to accomplish in next 2 month?
I have made many friends. I participate in 3-2 hour Japanese lessons a week which I have seen improvements from and also not getting lost!
